Free Barcode Scanning
Barcode scanning is included for all accounts. Adaptive macros and AI photo logging are Premium; the scanner itself is not.
How it works
From the Nutrition tab, open the barcode scanner, point at a packaged food label, confirm the matched item, and log it to your diary. Results pull from merged food databases alongside search.
Unlike some macro apps that paywall barcode behind Premium, Hammr includes scanning on the free tier so you can track food without a separate diet subscription.
What is Premium
Adaptive macros that adjust daily targets from recovery and weight trend require Hammr Premium. AI photo and text meal logging also gate behind Premium or credit packs. Core macro tracking, search, and barcode remain free.
