Overview
The Hammr Closed Loop
Hammr connects wearable recovery data to adaptive nutrition and training decisions so your plan updates every morning instead of living in separate apps.
What is the closed loop?
Hammr is the fitness app where your recovery actually changes what you eat and how you train. Workouts, nutrition, readiness, and progress live in one place on iPhone and Apple Watch — not spread across MyFitnessPal, Hevy, and a wearable dashboard.
The loop works like this: overnight, Apple Watch or Oura Ring data feeds your Recovery score. In the morning, Recovery combines with training load, your check-in, and nutrition adherence to produce Readiness. A single locked Adaptive Decision then sets today's macro targets and workout volume guidance.
You train with volume-scaled prefills, log food toward adaptive macro rings, and review progress in Analytics. The next day, updated baselines restart the cycle.
Five pillars, one account
Home is your daily command center. Workouts covers strength logging, programs, and outdoor GPS cardio. Nutrition tracks macros, meals, and hydration. Analytics shows weight, muscle scores, and compliance. Profile holds friends, teams, settings, and connected devices.
Deep routes — AI Coach chat, score detail screens, Apple Health and Oura dashboards — extend the tabs without fragmenting your data.
Platform scope
Hammr is iOS only: iPhone app plus a standalone Apple Watch companion. Apple Health and Oura Ring integrate for wearable data. Android is not supported today.
GPS location is collected only during active outdoor run, walk, hike, or cycle sessions so recording continues when the screen is off. GPS is not used for gym workouts.
